I waited for a response to my advertisement on Asianmatches.com (Suitablematch.com). Jayant's was the first response. I received subsequent responses but by then I had already fallen for Jayant. Instinct told me that he was the right person to have as a husband and a father for my 9-year-old daughter from my previous marriage from which I was widowed.

Binu's was one of the first responses I received to my communication on Asianmatches.com (Suitablematch.com). She sounded enthusiatic and interesting. In particular I felt very bad that her previous husband had expired in a plane crash and I respected her a lot for bringing up her daughter all
alone.

I enjoyed our online romance. Within one month of our correspondence I got onto a plane and visited Jayant in Cheshire in the UK in November 2001. We were running up very high phone bills calling each other so it was good that we met. We stayed in a hotel in London and then we went to Jay's house in Cheshire. We fell in deeper love and Jayant took out a ticket to visit me in December for the weekend where we would get married and my daughter and I would fly the same night back to the UK with him.

When I saw Binu for the first time at Heathrow, I knew she was the girl for me. After a great few days in the UK, I popped the question after we went to see Miss Saigon at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. I was delighted when Binu accepted, and I bought a weekend ticket to Bombay to get married. On Sat November 30 I flew to Bombay from Manchester. I met the family in the morning of Sunday December 1 and we got married in the afternoon. In the evening. We all caught the flight back to Manchester.
